Protector Giglio Uni point

DESCRIPTION:
Steel tip for carbon shafts type UNI, Ambition, X10 or similar with breach-off weight system. The tip, with the shape Giglio, has special ring that covers outside the carbon shaft of about 1.5 mm to avoid the typical "explosion" of carbon fibers when hitting something too hard.

The measure available is: BR 0.5 UNI for shaft Ambition 1800 to 800 with 60-70 weight or weight 80-90-100.

The kind of shafts UNI have the peculiar characteristic of having all the same internal diameter but vary the external. These tips would fits all sizes but the outer collar fits only measures from 1800 to 800.

DIRECTIONS:
They can also be installed on the spine more rigid (with a larger outside diameter) only after sanding lightly the edge of the shaft with 150-200 grit sandpaper.
If you want to make it even more "protective" for the shaft during the violent impact, you can glue it with two part epoxy resin. Remember, however, it will be much more difficult to rescue the tips of the broken arrows.

MY IMPRESSIONS:
This "cap" protective definitely does its job and makes the arrow a little more durable but do not think that it is indestructible ... Especially considering the low cost of Ambition shafts that have already a free point included in the price, the possible acquisition of an extra point of this type (and this price) should be well considered.
